Our Protected Species Workshops include the tracks, signs, and legislation relating to:
Badgers, Bats, Otters, Red Squirrels, Water Voles, Great Crested Newts, Barn Owls, Dormice, etc.

These workshops are especially for those whose work may bring them into contact with protected species, as it is now very easy to break the law relating to wildlife without realising it.
Anyone involved with roofing, building, power & telephone line installation, tree pruning & felling, hedge maintenance, highway maintenance, and any activity which involves using machinery in the countryside, can fall foul of the law.

Our workshops can help you to recognise the signs indicating the presence of protected wildlife, and teach you what you can, and cannot, do without a licence. We can also show you the steps you will need to take to avoid disturbing protected species, or to apply for a licence to disturb them.
